Treatments

It is from our Harley Street practice that we are able to give you the most succesful and proven methods to deal with all types of anxiety – from unpleasant feelings to full-blown panic attacks, unnecessary worrying to over-thinking.

We understand the neuroscience of anxiety and when we explain to you that your brain is just doing its job a bit too well, and needs to be a bit less enthusiastic, this alone can help immensely in reducing the symptoms of anxiety.

When we combine this with our cutting edge treatments like Hypnotherapy, NLP, and BWRT, we can help to resolve your anxiety very quickly.

BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT)

BWRT is a form of psychotherapy that works in the ‘cognitive gap’ – the millisecond delay after our brain has triggered an emotional response and just before our conscious awareness of it.

Anxiety is often a fight-flight reaction. Once we understand how our brain works it makes sense why we haven’t been able to stop it, until now. BWRT gives us the ability to step in and change the anxious response.

What can BWRT help with?

The quick answer is: most mind-related matters. Even more complex problems can often be resolved within four sessions, including long-term phobias or severe panic attacks. It’s highly fast and effective.

Why is BWRT different?

Claire says:

“When people come to see me they’ve very often tried other types of therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), without success.

BWRT is different because it works with the non-conscious brain and is consistent with current developments in neuroscience.

Science teaches us that unwanted feelings, behaviours or self-limiting beliefs originate in the non-conscious part of the brain – and that’s where we need to target therapy, not just by talking about the issue.

I’ve been using BWRT in my clinics for nearly ten years now and I really do believe that it’s the best therapy for all kinds of problems”.   Claire Gaskin

BWRT can help with all kinds of issues.

As well as providing therapy for anxiety, Claire specialises in helping people to overcome low self-esteem and increase confidence. Using a targeted, structured therapy programme, outstanding results can be achieved in as little as four weeks.

How do I know if BWRT will help me?

We can decide together what you want to achieve. Whatever it is, we’re confident we can help you. Let’s talk about it during your telephone consultation.

BWRT© stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. Like many other modern therapies, it allows a ‘core of privacy’ so that you do not have to divulge anything you would rather not talk about – in fact, the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is a completely new and different therapy based on the latest discoveries about the way the brain works and how it affects our moods, behaviour and emotions. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org

Hypnotherapy

What is hypnosis?
This is a question many people ask. Listen to the clip on the right to hear Trevor explain what hypnosis is, and what it isn’t, dispelling some of the myths you may have heard, including the difference between stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy.

The recording will also give you an experience of just how to use your imagination as you might during a hypnotherapy session, explaining perfectly how and why hypnosis works so well.

Warning: Do not drive whilst listening to the recording.
