Treatments

It is in our Harley Street practice that we are able to give you the most succesful and proven methods to deal with all types of anxiety – from unpleasant feelings to full-blown panic attacks, unnecessary worrying to over-thinking.

We are pretty good at eliminating phobias, too!

We understand the neuroscience of anxiety and when we explain to you that your brain is just doing its job a bit too well, and needs to be a bit less enthusiastic, this alone can help immensely in reducing the symptoms of anxiety.

When we combine this with our cutting edge treatments like Hypnosis, NLP, and BWRT®, to name just a few, we can help to resolve your anxiety very quickly.

Hypnotherapy

What is hypnosis?
This is a question many people ask. Listen to the clip on the right to hear an explanation of what hypnosis is, and what it isn’t, dispelling some of the myths you may have heard, including the difference between stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy.

The recording will also give you an experience of just how to use your imagination as you might during a hypnotherapy session, explaining perfectly how and why hypnosis works so well.

Warning: Do not drive whilst listening to the recording.

BrainWorking Recursive Therapy

BWRT is an immensely powerful psychotherapy, consistent with current developments in neuroscience. It works in the ‘cognitive gap’ between when the non-conscious part of the brain triggers a particular response, and our subsequent conscious awareness of it.

This is where lasting change can happen.

Why is BWRT different?

Claire says:

“When people come to see me they’ve very often tried other types of therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), without success.

I firmly believe this is because unwanted behaviours or self-limiting beliefs originate in the non-conscious part of the brain – and that’s where we need to target therapy, not just by talking to the conscious mind.

BWRT is different because it works with the non-conscious brain and is consistent with current developments in neuroscience.

I’ve been using it in my clinics for several years now and it’s the fastest, most effective, technique I’ve ever trained in.”   Claire Gaskin

What can BWRT help with?

The quick answer is: most mind-related matters. Often, we will only need one or two sessions to help someone with a lifelong phobia or crippling panic attacks. It really is that good.

BWRT can help with all kinds of anxiety and problems like depression, low-self-esteem and confidence.

Even complex problems usually only need around 4 sessions.

How can I find out more about BWRT?

We’re always happy to answer questions – you can get in touch here.”

How do I know if BWRT will help me?

We can decide together what you want to achieve. Whatever it is, we’re confident we can help.

Let’s talk about it during your telephone consultation.

‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. Like many other modern therapies, it allows a ‘core of privacy’ so that you do not have to divulge anything you would rather not talk about – in fact, the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is a completely new and different therapy based on the latest discoveries about the way the brain works and how it affects our moods, behaviour and emotions. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org
